This is an icon image of Jesus Christ. Icons are used to tell us about holy objects using pictures. This icon shows Jesus Christ with a halo, showing He is holy, a cross, showing His suffering, and His fingers giving the sign of peace, showing us that He came to bring peace to all people. Icons are common to find in churches and on holy cards. Many holy cards and stained glass windows have icons of Christ.
